A series of guides produced in conjunction with industry sponsors, looking at the improvements in building techniques and processes that will be necessary for the delivery of low and zero carbon housing. Each guide covers a separate construction system and includes explanations of the key issues, checklists for designers and contractors, together with example case studies. The first three guides covering Masonry, Timber Frame and ICF construction have been published by NBS and we are currently working on a guide to Timber Frame.
