Former Woolwich Polytechnic
The locally listed four-storey former Woolwich Polytechnic School had been derelict for several years when it was purchased from Greenwich Council in 2003 for conversion into housing. Following work by others, we were appointed post-tender to oversee the works through to completion. This involved implementing several significant variations and additional design work. The brief was to preserve the building's historic character while providing 44 apartments with a relaxed and modern living environment.
