Parkmount
Parkmount is an urban housing scheme that provides energy efficient, healthy and cost effective housing, regenerating a neglected corner of north Belfast. Its striking form is a direct response to the dramatic landscape setting of the site; the arc of buildings creating a sheltered communal space between the building and the wooded hill to the west. The step-up in building heights along the length of the site maximises the daylight potential for the photovoltaic and solar panels by preventing overshadowing.
