Tungsten

An extensive refurbishment and conversion of an existing industrial building that previously housed a tungsten manufacturing company. The concrete frame and steel roof structure was retained and the existing floor plates sub-divided into 12 small business units totalling 20,000 sqft. Arranged around a new central atrium, the result is a series of clean, bright and flexible ‘shell’ spaces. Contrary to the expectations of the property agents, those units with their own entrances onto the atrium proved to be the most popular.
